Eno Peci – Dancer & Choreographer

HERZBLUME

It seems as if the pain caused by the separation of mother and child is very much in the general consciousness of people. But usually the perspective when looking at this pain is on the child and on a completely natural development that he has to go through as he grows up. In his piece, metaphorically called "Heart Flower", Eno Peçi focuses on the mother who, for whatever reason, has lost her child to the world and now has to remain alone in her pain. In keeping with the theme, Peçi uses a choreographic language that seems to go beyond the boundaries of the classical canon.

  • Herzblume was created and staged by Peçi for the Vienna State Ballet , premiered at the Vienna Volksoper, Vienna - Austria in 2013.
